52 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MAY 2017 | Executive Men's Golf Our next tournament on May 19 is an Individual Stroke format followed by a catered lunch in the North Clubhouse. Tournament winners have $ credited to their accounts which can be used to purchase items from the Pro Shop or Restaurant/Lounge. The Executive Men's Golf Club plays every Friday on the Executive Course with monthly tournaments on the third Friday of the month. Every week you can enter to win $ for closest to the pin. Also on Mon., May 8 we will play our annual tournament against golfers from Highland Springs Village. This tournament pairs golfers from each club in competition for a rotating trophy. The tournament this year will take place at Sun Lakes, with lunch following tournament play. Awards will be given to outstanding performances by golfers from each club. Sign up early since this tournament is limited to 24 members from the EMGC. All Sun Lakes male golfers are encouraged to come out on Friday mornings at 8:30 am to the North Clubhouse for a 9 am tee time. Membership forms are available in the North Clubhouse Pro Shop or EMGC website at www.sunlakescc.com. If you have any questions our Membership Chairman, Fred Richman, can be reached at 769-7595. So come out and join us. We would like to have you as a member. Plans for our Member-Guest Tournament on Sat., May 20 are currently being prepared. Guests may include any man or woman who is not a member of our Men's Golf Club. Ideally, the guest will have an established handicap, if not, we will also be playing a Callaway Flight which does not require a handicap. Registration forms are also available in the Pro Shop.
