Landscape Committee
The Landscape Committee met with the City of Hemet at our
April meeting and we were updated on the landscape redo of the
entire area along Florida Ave. adjacent to the golf course and our
community. The city is responsible for the maintenance along
Florida and they have been keeping our Landscape Committee
fully informed and involved along the way. Their cooperation has
been greatly appreciated. The plans are to remove most of the
grassy area and replace it with drought tolerant plants. They will
be adding recycled water lines in that same area for the irrigation.
The city will be receiving a substantial rebate from EMWD for
almost the entire cost of this project. Work should begin towards
the end of May and take several weeks to complete. We have also
requested the city to consider the replacement of the dead or
dying plants at the Four Seasons monument located at the corner
of World Cup and California.
Landscape committee members monitor all areas throughout
the community where Artistic is to provide maintenance. We seek
your help should you see where the contractor or the committee
may have overlooked a maintenance problem by completing and
submitting a Maintenance Request form at the front desk. We
always are appreciative of our homeowners when they help us out.
We hope you are enjoying the appearance of our community
with all the beautiful flowers and trees along with the new
plantings. Artistic is doing a great job, making our community
one of which we can all be very proud.
