12 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | May 2017 | Access Control Committee Although we posted this memo in last month's edition, it is important that we keep this topic front-and-center in order to create awareness for the community. We will be setting up a program that will impact every homeowner that has one or more vehicles (including golf carts) within our community. This new RFID system that is being proposed will bring our Four Seasons complex up to date with a more modern technology that will ultimately create a more efficient and secure method of entry/exit throughout our community. 1. Benefits will include tags that are NOT transferable between users. 2. Any effort made to remove the tag will make it inoperable. 3. Existing fobs will be for use only within the Lodge amenities and pedestrian entrances, and not as a substitute for vehicle access. 4. Once mounted, tags cannot be accidentally removed even in car-washes etc. 5. Once initial costs are taken care of, then it will greatly reduce the overall operating costs. 6. This technology allows more information from our users to be stored on the "chip" that can be used for better gate control, and can be beneficial in the event of accidents and theft. We encourage you to follow these postings so that when the system and all its components are in place we can set forth our final plan for the actual conversion from your old transponder system to the new RFID system. Financial Committee The total assets balance is $5,142,009.42, which includes reserves of $3,777,768.58. Total liabilities at this time are $133,466.77. The total equity of $1,230,774.07 is a surplus balance. New gate entry technology for homeowners
