| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | May 2017 | 5 A Message From Your General Manager By Rick Ruth, CMCA Summer is approaching! Very soon there will be an increase of younger guests at the pool during the noon to 5 pm time frame. Several years ago the Board budgeted pool monitoring services for seven days a week which will begin Fri., May 26 and continue on through Labor Day, Sept. 4. The Board has contracted the services of our guard company, Allied Barton, to monitor compliance and safety within the pool area. Their presence helps ensure an enjoyable time at the pool for all residents. If you do bring guests with you to the pool, please remember to register your guests either at the front desk or at the pool during pool monitor times. Also, remember that you have a responsibility to your fellow residents to monitor your guests and make sure all of your guests (as well as you) adhere to the posted rules. Please take a minute to review the rules so you are familiar with them. A lot of time and input from your fellow residents was spent establishing the rules that your Board of Directors approved. From time to time I receive requests to write about important topics to ponder and one suggestion I received this month pertains to smokers, specifically cigarette butts being deposited in the landscape planters in the parking lot. People leaving the Lodge who are out near their vehicles when finished smoking, are throwing their butts in the planters. Please stop! Put them in the proper receptacles. The newly constructed pool shade structure is a welcome sight for all to enjoy. There are individual switches for each fan and the structure has energy efficient LED lighting. I've been asked "what about the other two structures at the pool?" They are being monitored by the Facilities Committee and are in good shape. On this upcoming Memorial Day, let us pause to remember the brave men and women who valiantly gave their lives for our freedom and let us never forget their sacrifice. May you and your family have a safe and peaceful Memorial Day.
