62 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2017
The rain was pouring down. There standing
in front of a big puddle outside a bar, was Ron
Erickson, drenched, holding a stick with a piece
of string dangling in the water.
A passer-by stopped and asked, "What are you
doing?"
"Fishing," replied Ron.
Feeling sorry for Ron, the man said, "Come in
out of the rain and have a drink on me." In the
warmth of the bar as they sipped their whiskies,
the gentleman could not resist asking, "So how
many have you caught today?"
"You're the eighth," said Ron.
No matter where you are, you can always find a
good place to fish. Life is good and fishing makes
it even better. Tight lines to all my fishing friends
at Four Seasons. Remember, there is more than
one way to skin a cat or catch a fish. ~ Richard
