This was a first season for Clarissa and Carmen. Great job! Second place went to Team 1, Gimme An X (Dan and Teri Comerford, Peggy Laurel and Larry Stormes). In Third place is Team 11, 4 Play (Ken Smelker, Diane and Gaylord Spence, and Rick Shanefelt). The Team Scratch Game goes to team 4- Bipolar Rollers (Carol and Larry Ellis, Sallie Flesher and Sandy Hepburn) with a 783. Mens' High Scratch Series goes George Thiel with a 728. The Men's High Scratch Game goes to Andy Toro with a HUGE 299. Womens' High Scratch Series goes to Ida Nily with a 544. The Womens' High Scratch Game goes to Karen Enderson with a 226. Season High Handicap Scores: High Team Handicap Series goes to Team 6, Split Happens (Beverly and Rich Bly, Kristi Herring and Sue Volz) with 2774. The High Team Handicap game with a 1039 goes to Team 13, We Don't Care (Diana and Dan Cosner and Jackie and Royce Newman). Men's High Handicap series with an 811 goes to Rick Shanefelt. Men's High Handicap Game goes to Royce Newman with a 300. Women's High Handicap Series goes to Beverly Bly with a 737. Women's High Handicap Game is held by Sue Torres with a 282. Sun Lakers at Canyon Lanes Our winter league is over and our focus is on the summer league, which started on May 15. We had a very good banquet at the south clubhouse where everyone collected his or her winnings. Many of the teams were pleasantly surprised at the extra winnings they received. Those quarters sure add up. During the sweeps some of our bowlers won money for the first time thanks to our handicap system. Winners in the sweeps are as follows.
