Dinner Dance Club
Dinner Dance Club will be dark in the month of June. History
has shown that residents are torn between all the events taking
place for Charity Week and the many other regularly scheduled
social events. Therefore the Board made the decision to skip
our usual June Dinner Dance. This also helps to keep our
expenses down for the year and keep membership fees low.
Please be sure to enjoy all the great festivities of our Annual
Charity Week, and plan to join us in July for our regular dinner
dance.
International Dancers
June already. That means our spectacular annual extravaganza of a
dance show is only five months out. In recent years we have presented
the show in August and September, so it is our intention to remind you
early and often that in 2017 the show will be Nov. 4 and 5 with ticket
sales Oct. 2 through 13.
May was a remarkable month for IDS. We took our show on the road
twice, performing full programs for Opera Arts Palm Springs and for a
church fundraiser in Orange County. IDS also danced at International
Culture Club, Sun Lakes Health Fair, The Lakes Cinco de Mayo Party,
Sun Lakes 80s Birthday Party, and at Diane and Ed Avina's annual
Cinco de Mayo Party. Whew! Is there such a thing as too much fun?
