In early May, a group of SDV residents, along
with some friends, took a trip to Laughlin,
Nevada to stay at the Riverside Hotel and
Casino. I think it's safe to say that a "good time
was had by all!" Some returned winners ($$$),
some not so much (-$$$$) but with all the
perks we received from the casinos such as free
or BOGO meals and libations, the mild weather
and the fun companions, I think we would all
agree the trip was worth taking. Aside from
the casinos in the area, we had opportunities
for Colorado River boat trips, hiking trails for
the adventurous and some fun shopping in
the casinos. Congrats to our Lifestyle Director,
Richard Booth, for arranging the trip and
keeping us all (relatively) in line as we enjoyed
our days away from our SDV homes!
