Join us on the Veranda from 2 to 3 pm on Thursdays July 20, Aug. 17, Sept. 14. BEAT THE HEAT INDOOR MOVIE Wed., July 19, 6pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Join us for Sully a PG-13 rated drama/biography that is 1hour and 36 minutes long. On Jan. 15, 2009, Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) tries to make an emergency landing in New York's Hudson River after US Airways Flight 1549 strikes a flock of geese. Miraculously, all of the 155 passengers and crew survive the harrowing ordeal, and Sullenberger becomes a national hero in the eyes of the public and the media. Despite the accolades, the famed pilot now faces an investigation that threatens to destroy his career and reputation. Popcorn will be on sale for $1 a bag and the bar will be available in the Ballroom! MUSIC UNDER THE STARS Get ready for our exciting entertainment on the veranda this summer! Starting in June, the Recreation Department will provide three FREE evenings of wonderful music! We hope you join us as we dance the night away on the following Saturdays from 6 to 9 pm. July 29, Showdown; Aug. 19, American Made. Please remember it is first come first served seating and no outside alcohol can be consumed on the veranda. EVENING ON THE VERANDA In addition to Music Under the Stars this summer, join us out on the Veranda the first Wednesday of the month for some wonderful entertainment. The talented Renee Rojanaro will be out on the Veranda from 6 to 9 pm singing her heart out so come out and enjoy the evening with your friends and dance the night away. Wednesdays, July 5, Aug. 2, Sept. 6. Now that summer is upon us, the Main Clubhouse and North Clubhouse pools are the place to be. Please remember that you must be with your guests at all times, and as the resident, you are responsible for the actions of your guests. The children's hours are 10 am – 2 pm, except for Labor Day Weekend (Sat. – Mon.) and Tues., July 4 when the hours are 10 am to 4 pm. This year, after much discussion, we have moved away from Lifeguards and now have Pool Monitors who are on duty from 9 am to 3 pm daily (9 am to 4 pm on the two indicated holidays above) and will enforce all rules as written in the rules and regulations. In addition, please remember that no floatation devices like large rafts are allowed at any time. Furthermore, pool noodles and floatation buoys are not allowed in the pools during children's hours.
