We meet every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Mondays of the month at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Arts and Crafts Room. Info., Jan Hamm, 797-3150. Sun Lakes Quilters Happy summer! First of all thanks, for past donations to our club of quite a variety of items which we find on our table each week. Depending on how much we get, it takes quite a while to sort through each week and a lot of the items we can't use and are passed on to Pass Resource center in Beaumont. So I thought maybe just giving you what we do use would save us both some time in sorting and/or you dropping the items off. Our needs are basically yarn, cotton fabrics and flannel materials of all colors, and ribbon and rick rack of varying sizes. We don't need buttons or zippers or thread at this time or other sewing or miscellaneous items. I know that summer may not be a good time to start with our group if you do a lot of traveling during these months, but you are always welcome to come in and check our group out or bring visitors by when showing them around our great clubhouse. All knitters and people who crochet are welcome to join us as well - not just sewers. Again we meet every Tuesday from 12:45 to 2:30 pm, however we will not be meeting on July 4. Have a happy, cool July Fourth and well see you the following week on July 11. Sew What? Club Don't Forget – Potluck last Monday every month. What? A gathering of like-minded craftspeople When?
