Played on Tuesdays at 6 pm in the Card Room next to the Library. A group has played here at Four Seasons for nine years. Seating is by random draw, no partners, individual scores. Easy to learn, harder to win. Players will teach. Games last approximately two hours. Lowest points win. Every week we have a training table and we welcome everyone. We start at 4 pm on Mondays and 3 pm on Saturdays. This is fun and we are friendly so come on down and check us out. Once again, we had great food and a few crazy fun games to play thanks to Lylia and Verina. Way to go girls. What a lot of laughs… especially after a little wine and beer! During these hot summer afternoons why not come play some bridge with us? Our groups are for fun, so if you feel you are not a great player, have no worries, we can help you continue to learn. You can always come and watch to see if bridge is for you. If you have never played but would like to learn, Bill Guy offers to teach the game. We meet Mondays and Wednesdays at noon in the Card Room. We play every second, third and fourth Sunday of the month, to have fun with new friends and old friends. If you like Rummy and mah jong you would like Rummikub. We've had good turnouts since starting. We will be playing in the Lodge Card Room. We also have training tables for all newcomers. Hope to see you all there. If you have any questions or if you need extra training call John Hendzel at (909) 435-6592. ~ John Hendzel Dominoes After resting on the bottom of the ocean for a long time, Lee Harris swam back to the top of the waves and became the domino champion for the month of June with 16 wins. It has been quite a long time since Lee was the domino champion. Congratulations to Lee on his nice win. On June 30 the domino group held a playoff match to see which players would be in the annual Fourth of July domino championship games. The event is sponsored every Fourth of July by Four Seasons Beaumont. In the Fourth of July domino tournament, Gregg Lee surprised everyone by winning first place. This was a shocker because Gregg does not play a lot of dominoes on a regular basis. Another surprise was the second place winner, James Robeson, who has only been in the domino group for a couple of months. Congratulations to both players and everyone who participated in the tournament. Special thanks to Cindy Graves and Four Seasons at Beaumont for providing the trophies and making this event possible. Dominoes are played every Wednesday and Friday from 5 to 9 pm in the Lodge Game Room. Come out and join us, everyone is welcome.
