24 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2017 | This beautiful lady, Marilyn Rhyne, (left) has been a guiding light in Team Sunshine as one of its Co-Chairs. She and husband Jim decided to make a change in their life plans and recently moved to Claremont. She states that it is only about an hour drive, so she plans to visit often. We wish Marilyn and Jim the very best on this new adventure. We also wish to thank Marilyn for her service to the Team. Every happiness and good health to you and Jim. Brenda Beers (right) has stepped up to fill the position of Team Sunshine Co- Chair. Brenda was previously serving as Treasurer on the Team's Steering Committee. She has been a supporter of our Team for a number of years and we welcome her to this new position. Helen Johnson will be taking over the responsibilities of Treasurer. Best wishes to both in their new positions. Celebrations of Life Team Sunshine lost some of its glow on Sun., June 25 as we paid special tribute (photos right) to Team Sunshiner, Phyllis Brumfield (left). The host of the celebration, Hal Townend, shared some personal reminisces of this wonderful lady. She volunteered, not only in several groups in Four Seasons, but her interests spread to the support of theatre arts both here and in Idyllwild. Her connection to her faith was shared just by being "Phyl." Pastor Roger Best of Cornerstone Church offered personal remarks of Phyl in his Sunday School Class as well as a special prayer. Sunshiners have heavy hearts at our loss as well as the Four Seasons community. "If love alone could have kept you here, you would have lived forever." We learned recently that Al and Carol McDaniel's son passed away. A Mass was held on Fri., June 23 at Holy Spirit Church. Our deepest and heartfelt sympathies are expressed in their loss. We often do not have information on others who may have passed in this community. Again, our sympathy to those who have suffered loss. The Kindness Program Team Sunshine's kindness program is as easy as recording someone's special deed on a Kindness Card.
