18 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2017 | Architectural Committee BEFORE YOU PAINT You now need ARC approval (exterior areas) even if it is the SAME COLOR as before. Because the paint color numbers (Frasier Paints) the builder used do not match the numbers Sherman-Williams or other brands have. We suggest you get a small sample of the paint and paint a two foot square area on the surface of the object you are to paint. ARC will look at it to see if it's a good match or one we need to approve. THE DROUGHT IS OVER We are no longer in a drought situation, so you can start using more water on your lawn and plants. With the HIGH HEAT we've been having, you may need to water twice a day for two or three minutes each. We suggest you water between 2 and 4 am, then again about 3 pm. If you look at your water bill you will see the amount of water you are using and the cost. Note: Water is inexpensive, it's the sewer and other charges, which you have no control over, that are high. Have your gardener check your sprinkler heads. They may be broken, damaged or need replacement. If you replace them use only the rotary heads kind. They use less water and you don't lose as much by evaporation. ARC ORIENTATION MEETING Sept. 21 If you are a new owner or have questions about the New Architectural Standards & Regulations, you are invited to attend our orientation review and discussion meeting on Sept. 21 in the Lodge Conference Room. If you are planning any improvements or changes to the exterior of your property you must submit an Application (Exhibit A), Neighbor Notification Statement (Exhibit B) along with a Plot Plan and description of what you want to do. We will go over these forms and answer any questions you may have. Question: I am a caregiver… where can I go to get some support?
