38 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | AUGUST 2017 | Dinner Dance Club We're starting off another great year with our friends in the Dinner Dance Club with a bang! Thanks to all who sent in your membership early. If you forgot to send in your membership fee on time, you must include it with your sign-up for this month in order to attend. Our dance will be held on Sat., Aug. 19. Sign-ups must be received between Aug. 1 and 10 and deposited in the box located at 782 Torrey Pines Road. We will make every effort to accommodate your table requests. Remember to visit our website and print out your sign- up form and see the table locations. Dress for the dance continues with dressy casual tradition for the summer months. A club favorite and new to the club this year, One-2-Many, will provide the evening's entertainment. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. Our meals for the evening are as follows: Caesar salad with both ranch and Caesar dressings along with rolls and butter. 1) Two braised pork chops with mushrooms $23.25; 2) Chicken Cordon Bleu $23.50 (choice 1 and 2 both served with garlic mashed potatoes and chef 's choice veggies); 3) Mashed potato stuffed Portabello mushrooms and chef 's choice veggies $22. Delicious chocolate cake will be our dessert. Remember to call Carla at 797-3506 before 3 pm on the day of the dance if you have signed up and are unable to attend so she can arrange for you to pick up your meal to enjoy at home. See you at the dance! International Dancers Remember how we promised to remind you of our premier annual event? The 2017 FESTIVAL OF DANCES and NATIONAL COSTUMES will be Nov. 4 and 5. Tickets are $10 pp and will be sold in the Main Clubhouse lobby Oct. 2 through Oct. 14. Dances and costumes from around the world, exciting guest performers, 50/50 and raffle prizes, table seating with beverages and snacks available for purchase. What's not to love?
