men's golf The recent events of the last 45 days, at least for the membership of our club, have proved most interesting. We are hopefully buoyed by the quality of men that have stepped-up to put their names forward as candidates for the new positions that will become available on our Board of Directors for 2013. Those names will be solidified in the results of our annual BOD election, completed on Oct. 3. But, in addition to the feeling that our club will again have great leadership in 2013, the results of our recent Club Championship Tournament have revealed some surprising, albeit, very popular results. This year's Club Champion, Bob Palmer, finally fought through the nerves and apprehension of previous year's tournaments to post a cumulative three-day gross total three strokes lower than runner- up, Dennis O'Donnell, our Club Champion from 2010. Bob, as well as Dennis and Jack Dutton, our perennial champion for fourteen years, is a very popular man in our club. Congratulations for a job well done! We are very fortunate to be represented by such fine gentlemen. The remaining winners in the Club Championship Tournament should be justly proud, as well. In addition to Bob Palmer winning the Low Gross for the Championship Flight, we also had Doug Swenson winning Low Net. In the #1 Flight we had Joe Karlage couples golf The Couples Golf Club is a group of couples with a wide range of handicaps and skill levels. Our annual club membership fee is only $60 per couple, which includes a free catered lunch for each couple travelers coed golf Coming Oct. 22, 23 and 24, all guys and gals are welcome to join us on a fabulous trip to Las Vegas!
