FREE PHONE EQUIPMENT FOR THOSE WITH UNIQUE NEEDS
California Telephone Access Program (CTAP) is a state-mandated program for the California Public Utilities Commission. CTAP provides specialized telephone equipment and services to residents who have an active phone line and have difficulty hearing, seeing, moving, speaking or remembering. Your age and income are not considered. All services and equipment are free of charge and are paid for through a surcharge on the phone bill of every Californian. Info., Terri Howell, 800- 995-6831.
DISTRICTBU Fashion Show & Luncheon
All Sun Lakes residents and their guests are invited to attend "Fall in Love with Fashion," the fashion show and luncheon presented by Districts 21, 22, and 23. The event is Oct. 19, in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom with doors opening at 10:30 am. Women models from the three districts will be wearing Coldwater Creek and Brooks Brothers fashions and men will be wearing clothes from Brooks Brothers. There are a few remaining tickets so if you missed the scheduled ticket sales, call Nancy Toeller at 769-0939. The cost is $27 pp and all checks should be made payable to District 23. Don't miss the day of beautiful fashions, good food and exceptional friendships.
District 21 is hosting a Halloween party on Sat., Oct. 27, at 6 pm in the South Clubhouse. It is a potluck with BYOB. Costumes are encouraged, but not mandatory. We will have entertainment. Everyone is welcome! RSVP to Bobbi Kremer, 845-6907.
