Due to some of the excursion refund policies, and to keep cancellations down to a minimum, we ask those who wish to sign up for an excursion to please check your calendar for prior engagements prior to signing up for excursions. REFUND POLICY: 1. Cancellations made 30 days prior to the departure date of an excursion or special event will qualify for a full refund. 2. Cancellations made after the 30 day refund deadline are not refundable. However, if an excursion or event has sold out and there is a wait list, the Recreation Department may issue a refund if the ticket can be resold from the wait list. Through the use of lights, ornaments, and decorations, each tree becomes its own piece of magnificent art. Also on display will be a collection of beautiful hand-crafted Menorahs that were given to President Reagan while in the White House. Please note that IF THE FIRST OF THE MONTH FALLS ON A WEEKEND, WE HAVE A DAYTIME RECEPTIONIST AT THE DESK FROM 8 AM - 5 PM who can sign up residents for newly released excursions. If a holiday falls on the first day of the month, sign-ups will begin the next day. WAITING LIST POLICY The waiting list is created by the Rec. Dept. for sold out events/excursions. This list is used (in order of registration) when the attendee has to cancel due to illness, doctor's appointment, etc. The waiting list is not used for additional sign-ups for secondary excursions that are scheduled due to their popularity. Contact the Rec. Dept. if you have any questions about either of these two policies. WE ACCEPT CHECKS ONLY (PAYABLE TO SUN LAKES). All Recreation Classes, Excursions, and Special Events are open to residents only, unless otherwise specified.
