Join us on the Veranda from 2 to 3 pm on Thurs., Sept. 14. MOVIE UNDER THE STARS Sat., Aug. 26, at dusk on the Veranda/Driving Range Join us on the driving range for the showing of Moana. The movie will start at dusk (approx. around 7:30 pm). Bring your golf cart or a chair and blanket to relax under a 22' tall air screen. Please remember chairs and blankets should be in front of the golf carts for better viewing. There will be popcorn for sale for $1. An adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder. Together they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds. Rated PG, Fantasy/Adventure, 1h 53m. EVENING ON THE VERANDA Join us on the Veranda Wed., Sept. 6, 6 to 9 pm, for some wonderful entertainment. The talented Renee Rojanaro will be singing her heart out so come out and enjoy the evening with your friends and dance the night away. DANCE PARTNERS WANTED! Are you a single male looking for a dance partner? If so, you're in luck! We have a lot of single women looking for a dance partner at some of the dancing events that take place here at Sun Lakes. If you are interested in being a dance partner for one of these lovely ladies please contact Jason in the Recreation Department at 769-6651. It's never too late to learn! PIANO LESSONS September is Healthy Aging month which is an annual observance designed to focus national attention on the positive aspects of growing older. No known substance can extend life, but the chances of staying healthy and living a long time can be improved. Here are a few ways to help. • Eat a balanced diet, including five helpings of fruits and vegetables a day. • Exercise regularly, especially stretching • Get regular health check-ups. • Practice safety habits at home and away to prevent falls and fractures. • Stay active through work, play, and community. • Avoid overexposure to the sun and the cold. • If you drink, moderation is the key.
