We are now entering a new year, and if you were out of town or for some other reason did not submit payment of your dues by the end of July, please know that you will be unable to attend any dinner dance going forward until you have submitted your payment. Annual membership is $100 per couple or $50 per individual and must accompany your reservation and meal check this month if you want to join us. September's dance will be Sat., Sept. 23, and we will dance to the music of The Sophisticats. Doors open at 5:30 pm and dinner will be served at 6 pm. We will again be enjoying our "Dressy Casual" summer attire so come join us for a great evening of fun. We have the following great meal selections: Fresh fruit with berries on a lettuce leaf with rolls and butter. Entrée selections for the evening are: 1) Large shrimp and Crab Louie salad: $ 22.75; 2) Tri-tip topped with caramelized onions with mashed potatoes: $23.50; 3) Spinach and mushroom stuffed manicotti with sauce: $22.50. All are served with Chef 's vegetable choice. For dessert: Yummy lemon cake with lemon filling. Sign ups this month are from Sept. 1 to 14 and can be dropped in the box on the gate at 782 Torrey Pines Rd along with your sign up sheet. Please also include your meal and table preference on the form you can access on the Sun Lakes website. Also, if you sign up and find you are unable attend, please call Carla at 797-3506 before 3 pm on the day of the dance and she will arrange for you to pick up your meal to enjoy at home. International Dancers Readers, we are now one month away from the opening of ticket sales for our show and two months away from the show: FESTIVAL OF DANCES and NATIONAL COSTUMES. Next month we will remind you on this page, on channel 97, via flyer and word of mouth. We do sell out, so we encourage you to purchase tickets early for best seat selections.
