Golf Advisory Committee: The Tee Box
Tours of the Championship and Executive Courses are scheduled
for Oct. 10. Sign-up sheets are located in both Pro Shops. We will
meet at 3:30 pm at respective Pro Shops, and your guides will take
you around your courses. These tours are fun and informative, open
to all residents. You do not need to be a golfer. Everyone is welcome.
It will help if you have a golf cart, but if you do not, we will figure it
out.
Action in October: Nine and Dine – Oct. 18, 4:30 pm. Pass Putters
– Oct. 20, 9:30 am. Women-4-Hope – Oct. 30. Sign up in the Pro
Shop. The weather should be cooler, so come out and play!
There will be some aerification and overseeding on the courses
during this month.
Gentle Reminders: ALL golf carts must be registered by the
Property Service Department located in the Administration
building. We are seeing a lot of dress code violations on the courses
and practice areas. Please review the dress code for SLCC facilities
(page 45, SLCC Phone Book) or in the Golf Rules available in the Pro
Shops. When you are on the cart paths, we would like you to have all
four wheels of your cart on the paths, driving or parking. Thank you.
