Bingo Needs Helpers! The Bingo Advisory Committee is looking for new members. We will be interviewing in early October. If you are interested, please pick up a volunteer interest application from the Main Clubhouse front desk. 8 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2017 | PROPOSED RULE CHANGE NOTIFICATION # 17-06 The Board reviewed the following proposed amendment, to the Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association General Statement of Rules and Regulations (revised July 1, 2017 edition), that appears on the Association's website (sunlakescc.com) and are available in the administration office (please reference ARTICLE VII SPECIFIC ARCHITECTURAL STANDARDS (7.20 Landscape)), at its Aug. 23, Open Session meeting. The Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its Nov. 22 Open Session Meeting, following publication in the October edition of Lifestyles. If the Board votes in favor of the proposed rule change it would go into effect Dec. 1. PURPOSE: The purpose of the proposed rule change is to clearly identify exterior items that should be kept clear of plant material to allow for appropriate painting and maintenance. EFFECT: The effect of the rule change, if adopted, will allow clarification for the association and its membership for enforcement. Strikethrough = Text to be deleted Bold, Italic and Underlined Text = Text to be added 7.20 Landscape d. No plant material, including vines, may be located where it would prevent the maintenance or painting of the house, fence, wall or other modification. The mature size of all plant material must be considered when selecting and placing plant material. Proposed Rule Amendment: Architectural Standards Last month's cover of Homer T. Hummingbird had a misspelling of the photographer's name. It was taken by David Greenberg. Our apologies for the error.
