FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2017 13 Hooray! Autumn is here and with it the long-awaited cooler weather. October is the month for the huge and wonderful Craft boutique on Saturday, Oct. 7, in the Lodge Ballroom from 9 am to 2 pm. If you like to find unique, interesting and one-of-a-kind gift items, then this is the place to come! Door prize gifts will be given out throughout the event. There is not an entrance fee and everyone is welcome. Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 5 pm is our "National Night Out" event sponsored by Neighborhood Watch. Come show your solidarity with our Beaumont Police as we join together to make a stand against neighborhood crime. There is a sign-up sheet in the Lodge for you to make it known that you intend to come and will bring a dish to share. This event is always fun and informative as we hear the latest crime statistics for the city. Be sure to pick up your free show tickets in the Lodge starting on Monday, Oct. 9 for the upcoming "Way Off Broadway" Performing Arts Club Show. There are only 350 tickets available for both the Friday, Oct. 20 and the Saturday, Oct. 21 shows so hurry and pick your date. The shows start at 6:30 pm. As usual, people will talk about this show for weeks to come — don't miss out! Finally, as you'll read in the Social Committee article, the marvelous Fashion Show will be Saturday, Oct. 28 in the Lodge Ballroom. Doors open at 11 am and lunch is served at 11:45 am. If you weren't able to buy a ticket, call the Lodge to be put on the waiting list… there's always a chance you can still attend. Have a great October and I'll see you around the Lodge!
