28 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2017 STAG: Senior Transportation Assistance Group Interest Group We are very happy with the response we are getting for our Morongo Free Buffet and Tour Trips. It is definitely a win-win situation for all involved. We love our free luncheon together as it promotes neighbor to neighbor getting to know you on an easy friendly basis and encourages the use of public transportation. Morongo is thanked for creating good public relations with the Pass area. We are taking sign-ups for our Morongo Free Buffet and Tour for Oct. 12, Nov. 9 and Dec. 14. If you are interested, please email or call: brendatrteeman@ verizon.net or (951) 845-8477. We will let you know what information we need. San Gorgonio Pass Area Transportation NOW Coalition (T-NOW) meetings continue on the first Thursday of each month from 12 to 1 pm. Lunch is included. STAG (Senior Transportation Assistance Group) will be holding a dessert only potluck (bring your own drink) on Oct. 19 at the Four Seasons Lodge at noon. Our guest speakers will be Elizabeth Gibbs, Director of Beaumont Pass Transit, Max Calder, Community Service Manager of Banning and Lisa Almilli, Riverside Transit Agency Mobility Manager. After our official meeting is over I hope all of you will stay for an informal gathering and discussion. We are continuing to work with the Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy Director for San Bernardino County in order to ascertain the number of Kaiser members living here in Four Seasons. We have contacted Beaver Medical regarding their new shuttle service from Sun Lakes to Redlands Community Hospital, Redlands and Beaver Medical, Redlands and Beaver, Banning because we are trying to get similar accommodations for Four Seasons. They have said that they will submit the idea to their administrator and get back to us. This is only for people who can get on and off the shuttle by themselves. There will be no provisions made for wheelchairs or scooters For information or sign-ups for Morongo Free Buffet and Tour and information regarding T-Now meetings, Kaiser and Beaver, please call or email: Brenda and Richard Teeman, (951) 845-8477 home or email brendarteeman@verizon.net. ~ Brenda & Richard Teeman STAG seeks to make senior transportation easier
