Motorcycle Club
Our featured photo this month is none other than the club's
president Paul Bricker with his Harley Davidson Street Glide. Paul
is a retired aerospace engineer and has been a Four Seasons resident
since October, 2014. Now, besides riding his Harley, Paul volunteers
as a member of the Mission Inn Board of Trustees and Treasurer for
the Foundation.
So what have we been up to? The weather was HOT! So riding
in August was rather toasty. Sitting over a hot engine in 100 degree
weather tests a rider's true grit. But we did manage to get up to
Idyllwild and to Big Bear on a cooler Thursday. Some even rode
down south to Harrahs in Valley View.
The riders meet weekly in the Lodge parking lot at 9 am for a day
ride, and all are welcome. We also do three to five day biker trips,
and once a year we do a "family" trip. In fact, in October, we're riding
to San Diego where we'll meet up with our spouses for a couple of
days to explore local sights, restaurants or shopping opportunities.
Anyone interested should contact us.
If you ride, we invite you to join us any Thursday for our Day Ride
or meet us at our monthly club meeting on the first Wednesday of
each month at 6 pm in RCN Room One. ~ Steve Sarchett
