| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2017 | 17 Landscape Committee It has been mentioned in a previous article that the Landscape Committee has been spending a lot of time over the past year looking at our community and reviewing the landscape areas that need improvement. As our community is now approximately 14 years old, our homes are requiring more maintenance to stay new looking and much of our community landscape has required the same kind of attention. The committee so far has restored Four Seasons Blvd. and in October we have had our plan approved by the Board of Directors to begin work on half of the front of our Lodge. Our landscape contractor has been of great assistance to the committee with design and choosing the right plant material for the type of soil we have and the climate we experience here in Hemet. As a committee we do continue to inspect all areas monthly for anything that requires maintenance but can use your help. If you see anything that needs maintenance (weed abatement, dead tree limbs, dead or diseased trees, sidewalk or fence raised from tree roots, etc.) please complete and submit a Maintenance Request form at the front desk. Don't just complain, help us. Help us to keep our community looking like new and learn what is going on pertaining to landscape by attending one of our meetings. Visitors are always welcome. As a reminder, if you plan to change your landscape, your plans must be submitted to the Architectural Review Committee before the work is started. We welcomed Rudy Rich as our new committee member in September and look forward to the expertise he will bring to our committee. Greetings from your newly assembled Bistro Committee. Tyrone Horn has accepted the duties of Chairman and Bobbie Davis has taken over as Secretary. Marilyn Covey will continue as the Catering Liaison while Carol Webber and Patt Gililland complete the committee roster. As a first order of business, a complete inventory was taken. All needed, but missing, items were ordered and have been received. We are the only Four Seasons community with a fully operational Bistro open seven days a week serving three meals a day (except Friday) and we would like to keep it that way. Francisco and his staff are doing a great job handling our needs and expectations along with bargain pricing so let them know they are appreciated. Our endeavor is to work in harmony with Francisco and his staff. Please know we will be looking for ways to make things run even more smoothly and efficiently for all. ~ Patt Gililland Bistro Committee
