40 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2017 | Dinner Dance Club The holidays are such a great time to get together with friends and to renew old acquaintances. So get off the couch and join us this month for a wonderful evening of music, food, and fun. One of our favorites, Touch of Class, will be providing the evening's entertainment. Doors will open at 5:30 pm and dinner will be served at 6 pm. Evening attire is dressy. Ladies… get out that nice outfit that's been ignored and hanging in the back of the closet! We will start the evening with a Caesar salad with both ranch and Caesar dressings. The entrée selections for November are as follows: 1) Three pork shanks with mixed white and wild rice, green onion and mushrooms $23.50; 2) Pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy $23.25. Both above entrées served with Chef 's choice vegetables; 3) Vegetarian selection is Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and mushrooms $22.50; Delicious carrot cake will be our dessert. November's dance is Sat., Nov. 18. Sign-ups are from Nov. 1 to 9 and can be dropped in the box on the gate at 782 Torrey Pines Rd. along with your sign-up sheet. Please include your meal and table preference on the form you can access on the Sun Lakes website, and PLEASE get your sign-ups in on time. As usual, if you sign up and find you are unable to attend, please call Carla at 797-3506 before 3 pm on the day of the dance to arrange for pick up of your meal to enjoy at home. Looking forward to a fun evening… don't miss it! International Dancers The International Dancers of Sun Lakes will present their annual show FESTIVAL OF DANCES and NATIONAL COSTUMES on Sat., Nov. 4 at 7 pm and on Sun., Nov. 5 at 3 pm. Admission is $10 pp. You may call Sussy Arzubiaga at 797-3258 to find out if tickets are still available. To enhance your show experience this year, a mini-bar setup in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom will facilitate cocktail service. Also, for the first time, the restaurant will offer an appetizer buffet for $10 pp. If you have purchased tickets for the show but not the appetizers, you may give Sussy a call to check on ticket availability for that as well. Doors open at 6 pm Saturday and at 2 pm Sunday. Plan to arrive early to greet friends, order a beverage, have a snack, and get ready to enjoy a unique and exciting show.
