The bocce year is coming to a close. The final week for the Fall
Tournament will be Nov. 6, 7, 8 and 9, with playoffs Nov. 13 and 14.
Come out and cheer on the winning teams as they play for first place!
Through a memory lapse on my part, the Summer Tournament
winners were never mentioned. Here they are: AA League — Rich
and Suzi Messick, Carol Herwig and Jeanette Torrey (subbing for
LaNelle Neet). A League — Steve and Debbie Brown, Ken and Sherry
Parker. B League — Mel and Jessie O'Campo, Randy Brown and
Howard Jackson (subbing for Marty Martin and Priscilla Beaudoin).
Belated congratulations!
New carpeting and sideboards should be installed during our
holiday break. The operative word here is 'should'! Keep an eye out
for that.
