8 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2017 | Proposed Rule Change Notification # 17-07 The Board reviewed the following proposed amendment, to the Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association General Statement of Rules and Regulations (revised July 1, 2017 edition), that appears on the Association's website (sunlakescc.com) and are available in the administration office (please reference Article III โ Resident Registration, Section 3.03 โ Automobile Decals and Vehicle Access Control Devices (V.A.C.D.), Item #1) at its Sept. 27 Open Session meeting. The Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its Jan. 24, 2018 Open Session Meeting, following publication in the November edition of Lifestyles. If the Board votes in favor of the proposed rule change it would go into effect Feb. 1, 2018. PURPOSE: The purpose of the proposed rule change is to institute a fine for residents who do not return their Sun Lakes Country Club decal to the administration office after they move, sell their car, or vacate the property. EFFECT: The effect of the rule change, if adopted, will allow the administration department to administer a fine for residents who do not to return in their Sun Lakes Country Club decal. Remove your automobile decal(s) from your windshield, and V.A.C.D.(s) from your headlamp when you sell your vehicle(s) or move from the Association. Turn in the automobile decal(s) to the Administration Office within 30 days of selling the vehicle, vacating the property, or moving from the Association. Failure to do so will result in a two hundred-dollar ($200) fine being assessed to your account. Proposed Rule Change Notification 17-08 The Board reviewed the following proposed amendment, to the Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Rules and Regulations (revised July 2017 edition), that appear on the Association's website (www.sunlakescc.com) and are available in the administration office (please reference Article VI - Recreation Facilities Rules and Regulations, Section 6.05 Main and North Clubhouse Pool and Spa Rules, Item #6) at its Sept. 27 Open Session Meeting. The Board will vote upon the proposed amendment at its Jan. 24, 2018 Open Session Meeting, following publication in the November edition of Lifestyles. If the Board votes in favor of the proposed rule change it would go into effect Feb. 1, 2018. Notice, informing the members of the approval, would be posted in the Main, North and South Clubhouses, in agreement with Civil Code ยง 4045. PURPOSE: The purpose of the proposed rule change is to eliminate the restriction of hours that a Water Noodle can be used. EFFECT: The effect of the rule change, if adopted, will allow Water Noodles to be used during the operating hours of the Main and North Clubhouse Pools. Life jackets, lifeguard approved water wings, swim fins, swim masks, and snorkels, and water noodles may be used in the pools. Water noodles, Exercise buoys and other types of water exercise floatation devices are permitted at the pool and spa facilities only when underage guest's hours do not apply. Water noodles and exercise buoys are not approved floatation devices and should not be relied on as a lifesaving apparatus.
