The Veteran's Club at Four Seasons was formed in September
2013. Our mission is to recognize all the veterans living here at Four
Seasons. To date we have 100+ neighbors recognized as veterans of
the many wars our nation has endured. These veterans are recognized
in our Honor Roll website, www.fourseasonsvets.org.
Our club is quite unique. We don't have structured meetings,
collect dues, or costs to be involved. Your military service to our
country has you a paid up member for life.
THIS MONTH IN HISTORY: December 7th, 1941
The Japanese military launched a surprise attack on the US Naval
base at Pearl Harbor.
The attack sank or damaged over 14 naval vessels and killed over
2,300 military personnel.
Japanese Naval Marshall General, Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, to
the Naval Ministry…"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping
giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
"I can run wild for six months … after that, I have no expectation
of success."
Veteran sign-ups are on Wednesdays, 12 pm near the Bistro Lobby.
