"Life is a journey to see how Big our Hearts can get." Excerpted from
"Receiving God" by Jason Shulman.
One wouldn't know this as a spiritual seeker on the path. We spend
so much of our time misidentifying with ego. Ego is the sum total of
early life conditioning (and prior lives too). It's a laundry list of fears,
attachments, aversions, and some of these are so buried in our psyche
they are hard to excavate. But, there is no hidden psychological debris
that can remain hidden when one is formally on the path AND one
is, like a drowning man, having liberation as their only purpose in
life. With this passionate commitment, god (self ) responds with the
power of grace, for truly that is the ONLY true help we receive that can
cause permanent change in our being.
The good news is that as the ego dissolves so by the same measure
our Hearts grow in compassion, in Love. When we are no longer busy
defending (and misidentifying with) the little self, god, which is Love,
floods our being.
SATSANG (GROUP MEETING WITH A SPIRITUAL AIM) begins
with a 30 min. meditation (15 min. if new people are present)
followed by a discourse and a short video presentation offered by a
teacher adhering to the teaching of Non-Duality. As always questions
are warmly encouraged.
We meet in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Our weekly
schedule is as follows: Sundays at 11:30 am – 1 pm (Note: no satsang
on Dec. 17 and 24).
This is a FREE offering. My background includes 29 years of
formal spiritual practice under the guidance of

Sun Lakes). You need not bring anything except
an open mind. My name is Gina and I can be
