Bible Study
Our Bible study group is non-denominational. All are welcome. We meet together every week for fellowship
and study. On the first Wednesday of each month we meet for dinner before our regular meeting. Reservations
for dinner are taken in the meeting the last Wednesday of each month. Bring your Bible, any version, and
listen to or participate in our discussion of the evening topic. We're all learning together. We'd be delighted if
you'd join us. We meet Wednesdays at 7 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room.
Merry Christmas & Happy Hanukkah to one and all… And A Happy
New Year! We meet from 3 to 5 pm on the first Monday and the third
Wednesday of each month in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room.
Come share your own poetry, memoir, or novel and listen as others
do the same. Our members exchange ideas, and offer encouraging
suggestions, all in support of becoming better writers — whether for
publication or personal pleasure. All are welcome! We're an eclectic
mix — as are our projects — so you'll fit right in. Info., Roger Smith,

THE CHRISTMAS S'PRISE By Mary Lynn Shea
Young Johnny William, of fourteen or so,
Was smitten through and through,
With Laura Marie who gave him winks,
But n'er a "howdy-doo."
Her ribboned hair she tossed about,
And laughed when she heard him speak,
For his voice would crack a time or two,
Then change to a high-pitched squeak.
But one Xmas morning Johnny hiked to the woods,
On a deed both noble and daring,
And brought to fair Laura a wreath of berries,
He'd plucked with tender caring.
To the boy's surprise, he received a kiss,
For Johnny did not know,
That the twigs he'd placed in Laura's hair,
Were sprigs of Mistletoe.
