Yes, we have 24 more weeks of bowling and anything can happen. If your bowling is not quite what you would like it to be, now is the time to get a tune up. Your local pro can see and fix those little quirks that you may have picked up. See Norris for a scheduled lesson before those little flaws grow into something even worse. Now for the Season High Scores as of Nov. 6. In first place is Just Lucky with Gail Stormes, Marlene Gartman, Larry Stormes, and Andy Toro. In second place is Motion To Strike with, Lakana Burkett, Mae Brock, Jim McGowan, and Rick Shanefelt. In third place is Thunder Bolts with, Sue Shubert, Tracy Galongo, Diane Spence and John Shubert. Season High Scores are as follows: For the men, Rick Shanefelt with a Scratch Series of 717, Andy Toro with a Scratch Game of 278, Tom Tykodi with a Handicap Series of 758, and Herk Ranieri with a Handicap Game of 270. For the women, Yvonne Wood with a Scratch Series of 520, Gail Stormes with a Scratch Game of 201, Marlene Gartman with a Handicap Series of 681 and Lisa Koerbel with a Handicap Game of 236. As of this writing we have "Who Gives A Split" in first place, made up of Shelby Cline, Sharon Winkler, Connie Mettler and Ron Johnson. So at this point of the season if your game may need a tune-up or a full rebuild — call Norris at Canyon Lanes — he's the mechanic for the job. I was once asked by a fellow bowler, "you want to bowl better," yep I do, hit the head pin! Much to my surprise it does help.
