Wine and cheese reception to immediately follow at South Clubhouse! Chanukkah dinner served at 6 pm by Johnny Russo for those with pre-paid reservations. Dinner menu includes: Pot roast, chicken piccata, veggies, challeh, potato latkes w/apple sauce and sour cream, traditional donut holes, and coffee. YCC Members: $22 pp; guests $25 pp. And maybe a Hora! Entertainment by "SO RARE!" Paid reservations must be received by Diane Stone, 1800 Litchfield Drive, Banning, by Dec. 5. Reservation forms available in Main Clubhouse Lobby. We hope you enjoyed our Reader's Theater production of It Happened One Night. Director, Martie Steggell, enjoyed working with several new readers and some veterans. This bi-annual event is one of our favorites as we can audition, rehearse and perform within weeks. Our next will be in May. This will be the last article written for the Sun Lakes Drama Club. We are excited to announce that beginning Jan. 1, 2018 we are merging with Mystery Theater & More to become a new club – Sun Lakes Playhouse! We will still be producing your favorite events – That's Entertainment, two Reader's Theater, two plays, and the Piano and Violin concert. We look forward to combining our talents and continuing to bring you fun, quality entertainment. Come chat with us on Activities Day, Jan. 13. We hope to entice more of our new neighbors to join us next year in the Playhouse! We had an exciting 2017 but hold on to your hat - because in 2018 we will be creating twice as much fun, entertainment, and opportunities in which for you to share your creative talents. We are pleased to announce Mystery Theater & More along with Sun Lakes Drama Club are joining forces beginning Jan. 1, 2018. Our new name is - SUN LAKES PLAYHOUSE! Your favorite events will continue such as - That's Entertainment, Reader's Theater, plays and the Piano and Violin concert. By combining the talents of the two clubs, our new Sun Lakes Playhouse will be the place to be for all of our creative Sun Lakes residents. The meetings will be held on the stage side of the Main Clubhouse Ballroom on the first Tuesday of the month at 1 pm. Membership fees are due in January and will remain the same price as in 2017.
