Maryellen Wilkins Kennels Open in Sun Lakes
Our September meeting was delightful as we had a black Lab puppy, Burney, that is going through training to be a Guide Dog. John and Karen Vanelli are his trainers and they did a great job in describing their lives while training him.
Jane Manson is our committee chairman for the Craft Fair coming up in November and asked for help making crafts for the booth.
On Oct. 3, we had our Grand Opening of the Maryellen Wilkins Kennels at the Maintenance area. We had a great turnout even
though it was a very warm afternoon. Our thanks go out to Mark Schleiden our Maintenance Manager, who did a wonderful job in rehabbing them so that our strays will be comfortable and safe. If you did not get a chance to see our kennels that day, any of our group will be glad to show them to you. Our next meeting will be Nov. 19.
