Harry Warren Anderson, age 84, passed away September 7, 2012, at his home in Sun Lakes. A 1948 mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Minnesota, Harry spent most of his career with Rockwell International, retiring in 1986. in the U.S. Army Engineering School, attaining the rank of Sergeant, and was an instructor in water supply and purification at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. He was married to Ruth Anderson for 60 years. The couple lived in Sun Lakes for 23 years. During his retirement, he became more involved in his local church, traveling to many places in the United States, Europe and South America. In Sun Lakes, he organized the Canasta Group in the early 1990s and was a member of the Friendship Club. He served Harry is survived by his wife Ruth, daughters Linda, Diane and Nancy, and grandchildren Russell, Benjamin, Celia, Megan and Kelly. Friends we will miss DEAN DAVIS, beloved husband and father, passed away August 20, 2012, at his home in Sun Lakes. He leaves behind Dody, his wife of 62 years and his sons Robert, Ronald, Randy and Ricky, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. He was an electrician and was awarded his 60 year pin. Preceding him in passing are his parents and three grandchildren. He moved to Sun Lakes from Las Vegas six years ago. Before that, he lived in Buena Park. He was a war veteran from 1948 to 1950. He was born on June 11, 1929 in Westbey, Wisconsin. The family thanks everyone for their condolences. RICHARD FAIST passed away at his home in Sun Lakes on September 5, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. Richard came to Sun Lakes in December, 2009, from Orange County. His then finance, Susan, joined him in November, 2011. They were married in February 2012 and shared many happy memories in Sun Lakes. Richard was a good and kind man who could find humor in any situation. He brought laughter and friendship to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife Susan, son Rick (Lisa), daughter Kim (Tim) and grandchildren Becca, Kaytie, Garrett, Brooke and Blake. LLOYD A. FREDERICK, JR. Lloyd passed away September 15, 2012, at his home in Banning, CA at the age of 83. He was born in Shawnee, OK on May 27, 1929 to Lloyd A. Frederick, Sr. and Opal Willie (Moore). The family moved to Beverly Hills, CA when Lloyd was 15. He graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 1947, attended Pepperdine College, majoring in accounting. He joined his father as a broker for the Lloyd A. Frederick Co. in Beverly Hills. Lloyd and his father purchased the Tally Glenn Ranch in Lytle Creek in the San Bernardino mountains and turned it into a working dude ranch. Later they built Lloyd's Lakes campground and developed land and housing subdivisions. He lived there for 30 years. In 1998, he and his wife, Peggy, moved to Sun Lakes to enjoy a very active life. Lloyd belonged to the tennis club, the Sun Lakes Chorale and the International Cultural Club. He loved to fish, garden, play piano, travel and tell stories. Lloyd has four children Karen Gardener (Mike), Thousand Oaks, CA, Sue Trout (Robert), Carlsbad, CA, Marie McCarthy (Bob), Kona, HI, and Clifford Frederick, Carlsbad, CA; sister Pamela Hupp (Bob), Tehachapi, CA; two grandchildren JD Trout (Stephany) and Chelsea Gardner; niece Jhene Canody, San Francisco, CA; three step children Brett Gerdts (Monica), Loma Linda, CA, Susan Britton, Mentone, CA, Matt Gerdts (Kira), Canton, GA; step-grandchildren Hunter Britton, Travis and Jesse Gerdts, Zachary, Connor, Caitlin Gerdts and Daniel Schanck. DONALD S. FUJII, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away September 23, 2012. He was born June 7, 1936, in Lihue, HI to Tokio and Fumiko Fujii. Donald enter active duty in the United States Air Force as a newly commissioned Second Lieutenant in July 1960. He was assigned to duty at Fuchu Air Station in Japan, where he met his future wife, Keiko Nakadate. They were married on October 18, 1964, in Tokyo. In total, Donald served 26 years in active duty. After retiring as a Colonel, he spent another 11 years with the Defense Systems Management College. Donald then retired to Sun Lakes where he enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling. Donald is survived by his wife Keiko, children Susan (David), Amy (Eskander) and grandchildren Justin, Jessica, Natasha and Katerina.
