16 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2018 | Architectural Committee BEST CHRISTMAS HOME DECORATIONS EVER Many homeowners put up displays for the holidays which were outstanding. We took a tour throughout Four Seasons just to see the creations and lights on front yards. If you missed them this time, plan on doing it next year. Facilities Committee The Facilities Committee would like to wish all Four Seasons residents a Happy New Year. In 2017, we have had many accomplishments within our community: • New carpeting and tile in the hallways and office at the Lodge; • The resolution of the erosion problem at Lot A; • Seal coating of the upper streets in the Masters West; • Sealing the major cracks in all of the streets within Four Seasons; • Tennis court resurfacing. Most minor projects go unnoticed because our handyman can take care of many facility problems without us having to use outside vendors or contractors. One major project that has finally been accomplished is the construction of the Storage Building, located next to the Handball courts. After 15 years of storing items from various committees and clubs, the storage room in the Ballroom has greatly exceeded its capacity. That room will now be used to store the tables and chairs, portable stage and bingo equipment, as was originally intended. A new large wall unit in the Ballroom will be used to store glassware and items used by the Bistro and Social Committee for large events. Looking forward to 2018, some of the major projects that the committee will be discussing and implementing are the street repair, seal coating and striping on Four Seasons Blvd and World Cup Ave; repairing/replacing pool chaise lounges and cushions; repairing/ replacing tables in the Ballroom; and additional Bollard lighting in the Legends area by the tennis courts. If you become aware of any facility issues within our community, please take a moment to fill out and submit a Resident Communication Form at the front desk. We also have an opening on the Facilities Committee for a resident with construction/electrical/ plumbing experience. Happy New Year! NEW AND NOT SO NEW HOMEOWNERS ARC SEMINAR JAN. 25 All homeowners who are planning to make changes to your landscaping (front, sides or back) are invited to attend our ARC Seminar and Orientation Meeting on Jan. 25 at 9 am in the Lodge Conference Room. We will go over the Architectural Standards and Regulations, plot plans, plant identification, use of rock and other ground covers, solar systems, artificial turf and many other items you need to know about before you submit your application to do any work. We will be happy to answer any questions you have.
