20 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2018 Lodge Committee Now that the holidays are over, and we are taking down the decorations, and taking back our presents, we look forward to starting the New Year. The Lodge Committee is once again very busy with new projects. We are looking forward to the installation of the new flooring in the Lodge. This will include tile hallways, new carpet in the Billiards Room, Theater, Library and Card Room. The Bistro will welcome the installation of carpet tiles that can be easily cleaned or removed if necessary. We are also anticipating that the expansion of the Craft Room will begin soon. This will allow access between the rooms and alleviate much of the crowded situation that currently exists. I hope everyone is enjoying "Pay-Per-View Saturdays" in the theater. We ran into a snag in November as there were technical issues the vendor had to resolve. But as of the first week in December they have been up and running. We are looking for good attendance on that night, in order to ensure that we can continue showing the newer movies in the future. So, everyone, please come on out on Saturday afternoon or evening. I am sure you will enjoy the show. We are asking that those of you who purchase current DVDs and might be willing to lend them to the staff for showing on a movie day, contact the front desk and let them know. The Movie Sub-Committee meets every other Monday to schedule the movies for the next two weeks, and we would love to know if other options are available for showing. Thank you for your generosity. I am sad to report that this will be my final Breeze Article, as I am leaving the committee the first of the year. We are in need of at least two members and a Chairperson, and encourage anyone interested in helping to preserve the usability and look of the Lodge as well as the Salon and Bistro, please apply. We meet the fourth Wednesday of the month at 11 in the RCN Conference Room. ~ Ann Blair Emergency preparedness committee Emergency Preparedness Committee is happy to announce that Four Seasons at Beaumont will be hosting their first-ever CERT Training class in the RCN Building.
