FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2018 39 We have some new meetings for the New Year. We will continue to meet on the first and third Friday at 1 pm in the Craft Room for our regular cardmaking sessions. The cost is $6 and we make three cards. All materials are included, but we ask that you bring your own scissors and glue. We always have a fun afternoon and leave with our beautiful handmade cards! Our news is that now we will also be meeting on the second and fourth Friday at 1 pm in the Craft Room. On the second Friday, Vallerie will be having an advanced class… great fun and you don't want to miss these classes. On the fourth Friday, Patty will be having a class which will include making projects. At our last meeting, we made a Santa box holding hot chocolate and candy canes! The cost for these classes will be the same: $2 per project or card. We have something for the novice crafter looking for a new hobby, or someone who has experience and wants to create their own unique design or create pieces for friends and family. In addition to individual projects, we also offer class projects throughout the year to teach new techniques. Come and join in the fun. Drop by the Craft Room to see our monthly ceramics class schedule and learn more about our upcoming class projects. We meet on Wednesdays from 1 to 4 pm and the first Saturday of each month from 9 am to 1 pm. Please see class schedule for any exceptions. A certified instructor and/or an experienced class team lead is available to support your crafting needs. Participation is at your own pace and frequency. We had a nice holiday potluck brunch at The Summit in December. We have also decided that one of our projects for 2018 will again be making baby blankets for the San Gorgonio Hospital Women's Center. This is always enjoyable, and they are very appreciative. Come join us in the New Year from 10 to 11:30 am each Tuesday. ~ Dorothy Payne Happy New Year!
