8 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2018 By Larry Workman Over the past few months the Communications Committee, at the request of the HOA Board of Directors, has redesigned your community website. The new adaptive design allows the site to be easily viewed and worked with a smartphone, tablet or computer. However, that required the address to be changed to www. fourseasonsbeaumont.org. Note that the new address is missing the word "at," and ends with ".org". For a limited time, utilizing the old address will send you over to the new site after a few seconds. Your previous login and password are retained on this new site. If you have forgotten them or wish to obtain these credentials, contact FirstService Residential management. The design and layout of the website have been thoughtfully addressed to provide the user a logical method to seek its features. In most instances, there are multiple methods to arrive at a specific feature. You may realize that the menu, which appears across the upper side of the page on large screens, is replaced by a "hamburger" icon (three lines in a box) on the smaller screens. When the icon has been selected, a variation of the menu appears along the left side of the screen. A key function of the website redesign was to correlate it with the Daily Report, and the Breeze. This relationship will offer our residents current community and timely data. The Communications Committee will be offering a group of meetings that review this new design and help everyone become familiar with many of the new and exciting features. In addition to the HOA governing documents, one of the features is a set of community maps with trails, streets, phases, and districts, as well as facility descriptions and hours. Another is a schedule of the Salon services and pricing, along with Smitty's full menu with prices and programmed dialing from your phone. If you wish to find out more about our new community website, plan to attend our introduction and orientation meetings. We have three one-hour sessions on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 10 am, 1 pm and 6:30 pm in the Lodge Ballroom. All levels of Internet knowledge are welcome.
