2017 was a busy year for us with a number of maintenance
and improvement projects such as the exterior Lodge
painting, installation of the UV lighting and automated pool
systems, and the street seal coats in residential phases A&B.
The wrought iron fence painting in phases A&B that
was started in November should be completed in January,
weather permitting.
Also, the conversion of the two tennis courts at the Lodge
to pickleball courts has been completed. The players are
enjoying the additional playing time the eight new courts
provide. The shade covering at the pickleball courts is being
reconfigured and will be reinstalled when the modifications
are complete.
The Lodge "re-lamping" is finished and the new carpet and
flooring for the Lodge has been approved. The new flooring will be
installed in the first part of the year after the repairs on the Ballroom
are completed.
Additional benches for the Bocce Ball courts have also been
approved.
We are looking forward to the opportunities and challenges that
2018 will bring to us in maintaining and improving our wonderful
community.
We meet in the RCN building on the third Tuesday of the month
at 8:30 am. We always welcome residents to join us and share their
ideas or concerns.
