We have two well-reviewed small gems for you this month: Our first monthly screening, on Sunday, Jan. 14 at 6 pm, is the film My Cousin Rachel (UK 2017, 1 hr. 46 min., English). Here is a brief description from IMDb.com: "A young Englishman plots revenge against his late cousin's mysterious, beautiful wife, believing her responsible for his death. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the beguiling spell of her charms." Our second monthly screening, on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 6 pm, is the film Maudie (Ireland 2017, 1 hr. 55 min., English). Here is a brief description from IMDb.com: "An arthritic Nova Scotia woman works as a housekeeper while she hones her skills as an artist and eventually becomes a beloved figure in the community." All of our screenings are followed by lively discussion about the film. We'd love to have you join us. The Lodge Theatre has very limited seating. If you're interested in our screenings, come early. We start the year with a look back at some of Total Wine's most popular wines of 2017. They will go through their archives to find two of the top selling white wines and two of the top selling red wines. Some of the wines may be familiar to you, but we are hoping to introduce a new "favorite" into your wine collection. Taste d'Vine Wine Club is pleased to bring you the Best of 2017 Wines at January's meeting in the Ballroom on the third Thursday of the month, Jan. 18 at 6 pm. Doors open at 5:15 pm.
