They see themselves traveling down beautiful fall season country roads, enjoying the best RV camps, and meeting all sorts of people and having exciting adventures. Then all of a sudden, reality sets in. Even though the above version is nice to dream about, you come to the realization of other critical factors in our lives. You have a home, a family, friends, other obligations, and the list goes on. So after a few RV trips into the world of RV's, you find yourself back at home, and your RV in a nearby storage facility. Now you just dream about taking another trip, maybe to visit family back east or a national park. With all your current obligations, doing all the required planning for such a trip just doesn't fit into your daily schedule. Well, the Sun Lakes RV Club can come to the rescue. How? By allowing our club to do all that "planning stuff." All that is left is for you to load up your RV with all the necessities and family, fill the gas tank, and push on the gas pedal. we will tell you where you are traveling, when you need to arrive, and even provide you an itinerary for a week of fun and friends. How often does the Sun Lakes RV club do a rally? We strive to make four rallies a year. We also select different locations each time. The enclosed pictures are examples of the type of resorts and facilities we strive to occupy and enjoy. We are planning a trip in March to Yuma, Arizona. We will be heading for the Fortuna de Ono RV Resort from March 25 through March 30. So if you own an RV, are about to buy one, or rent one, as the old saying goes, come on down and see us. All Sun Lakes residents are welcome to practice with us Mondays thru Saturdays, except for Thursday which is league play. We normally draw for partners at noon, then play until 2 pm or so. There is no cost to join our group. However, if you elect to join a team, there is a $15 competition fee per three-month season. Eight teams compete every Thursday; four teams at 9am and the other four at 1pm in our Main Clubhouse Billiards Room. For a fun afternoon of friendly one-on-one competition, come watch us play.
