Sun., Jan. 7, 3 pm, doors open at 2 pm, Main Clubhouse Ballroom, $10 pp. Join us as we have the former lead singer, William Florian, of the famous 60s band The New Christy Minstrels back at Sun Lakes. He will be hosting the show "Those Were the Days," which is an upbeat, energetic, musical journey of America's greatest songs of the 60s. This includes songs he performed with the famous New Christy Minstrels plus the music of Peter Paul & Mary, John Denver, Pete Seeger, The Mamas & The Papas, and uplifting originals presented with amusing stories in an intimate show. This show will be theater seating. Tickets are $10 each. Get your tickets before they are gone! Based in Huntington Beach, the Harborlites Chorus was founded in 1960 as a chapter of Sweet Adelines International. Their membership includes women of all ages and backgrounds, including students, CEOs, moms, teachers, nurses, air traffic controllers, lawyers, voice instructors, former ballerinas, regional and international quartet champions, and women new to the art of barbershop singing. Under the direction of Pam Pieson, Harborlites has grown both in numbers and recognition, winning both Regional and International Chorus Championships.
