Club 2017 Accomplishments As many of you may know, all of the items that we make on our Tuesday afternoon meetings and take home projects are donated to local organizations. I thought letting you know this is who we donated to, and how much we donated this past year, would perhaps encourage those of you who have been thinking about joining us to give it more thought as we start the New Year. So here goes: San Gorgonio Hospital, 426 items; San Bernardino Pregnancy Center, 338 items; A Hospital in Loma Linda, 153 items; Beaver Oncology, 30 items; Child Help in Beaumont, 36 items; Palm Grove Healthcare Facility, 26 items; The Lakes, 14 items; Pass Area Supporting Soldiers, 34 items; VFW, 50 items; and Toys for Tots. As of this writing there will be a bit more to add to these numbers for the end of December but you get the idea…we do a lot of sewing with the few ladies we have. Not to mention all the items that we sell at the two craft fairs during the year. The money we make from the craft fairs helps to buy needed supplies for our sewing projects. Our members were treated to lunch at the Main Clubhouse restaurant for the many hours they donate each year. Stop in and check us out on Tuesday afternoons from 12:45 to 2:30. We're dark for the holidays. Our next meeting is Jan 9. Sew What? Club MONTHLY POTLUCKS EVERY LAST MONDAY JOIN THE FUN WHAT? A gathering of like-minded craftspeople WHEN?
