We look forward to an exciting new year in 2018. We have a large ensemble of wonderful, caring women and anyone who enjoys dancing is welcome to our group. What fun! We are opening this to all residents, so pull out your flip flops and Bermudas and join us for this special picnic buffet. The menu includes burgers, hot dogs, chicken breast, pasta veggie salad, baked beans and apple pie with a dollop of ice cream. All this for only $20. How can you beat it? We are also offering reduced membership of $50 per couple through July 2018. January's Picnic is Sat., Jan. 20, and we have booked a great DJ for our party, DJ Blast. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the buffet will open at 6 pm. Come join us for a great evening of fun. Sign-ups this month are from Jan. 1 to 11 and can be dropped in the box on the gate at 782 Torrey Pines Rd. along with your sign-up sheet. Check out our website for table locations and please include your table preference on the form. Also, if you sign up and find you are unable to attend, please call Carla at 797-3506 before 3 pm on the day of the dance and she will arrange for you to pick up your meal to enjoy at home. Following is the schedule for the remainder of our fiscal year together with the music booked for each month: Feb. 17, Showdown; March 24, DJ Blast; April 21, Sophisticats; May 19, Showdown. We are dark in June due to Charity Week. July 21, One-2-Many. Mark your calendars to join us for these fun dances. This picnic should be loads of fun. Bring your friends for a great evening! On Thurs., Jan. 25, at 5:30 pm come welcome 2018 with our club. Main Street Swing Band with vocals by Nannette will be playing. In addition to Foxtrots, Waltzes and Swing music, the band plays modern Big Band Music from the 60s and 90s. This includes line dance and country western. If you have a request for a favorite piece or are having an anniversary or birthday to celebrate, call band member, Mike, at (909) 560-3539 two weeks before Jan. 25. As usual you may purchase beverages and/or snacks. Annual membership dues of $25 are due at this time. Entry fees are still $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
