Tickets are on sale now - please see the flyer for further information. ~ Pamela Morales Social Committee At our meeting on Nov. 29, financial statements were reviewed for the month of October which reflected the following significant amounts: Total Assets $8,481,571 including checking $124,287 and reserve assets $6,547,858. Operating money market and CDs totaled $1,670,921. Total Liabilities were $312,685 and Total Equity of $1,621,029. There was a net income loss for the month of $101,446 and year-to-date net income is a negative $238,683. The Finance Committee recommended and the BOD approved use of money markets and CDs to offset the net income losses. Front yard cost center expenses were under budget by $357 and Springdale cost center expenses were over budget by $624. Nine vendor proposals were reviewed. Seven were recommended for Board approval. Several homeowners, committee persons and Board Liaison, Claudeen Diaz, were present. There is presently an opening on the Finance Committee. If you are interested, please come to our next meeting on Jan. 30. ~ Barry Ginnetti Finance Committee The Facilities Committee will be very busy in the next few months. Some of the project considerations the committee is working on include: the overall improvement of heating and air conditioning (HVAC) in the Ballroom, the renovation of the ceramics and old computer rooms to accommodate a larger number of crafters, the replacement of flooring in the Spa Building Fitness Room, the installation of additional dog waste stations along our trails, the installation of ADA compliant swimming pool hand rails and, the replacement of Bistro dining room lights. The Facilities Committee meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Our next regularly scheduled meeting is on Feb. 20 at 8:30 am.
