22 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2018 The AEDs have been installed. Please familiarize yourself with their locations in each of the buildings. Due to a lack of sign-ups the training has been postponed to a later date. The crosswalk completion, curb alterations, and the Emergency 911, will be installed in January weather permitting. The Safety Committee encourages all to be aware and adhere to the speed limits. When the crosswalks are installed look for pedestrians crossing the road. Thank you to everyone on the Safety Committee for a very productive year. The Safety Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month at 9 am in the RCN building. ~ Anita Worthen I moved into Four Seasons on June 8, 2015. I made several visits to the area in early 2015. I loved the walking trails, and I was pleased when I observed the beautiful landscaping as I drove up to the Lodge. I joined the Landscape Committee in October of 2015. Up to that point I did not realize how much work was required to keep Four Seasons so lovely. Now, as I walk around our community, I know how many people are involved to maintain the scenic environment. The Landscape Committee inspects all of the neighborhoods. We make sure that the plants are thriving and the common areas match the aesthetics. As a committee, we are constantly working to replace dead plants, inform landscapers of water problems, broken sprinklers, and more. Please be advised that we are now in the winter season. Any excess water in your backyard will collect in the drains that lead to your front yard. With the rain and cool weather, you should adjust your backyard irrigation to water less. By doing so, you will reduce the amount of standing water in your front yard lawns where the green pop-up drain is. I hope the community is aware of how much time and energy the Landscape Committee devotes to making our community a beautiful place to reside. Please know you can always express an interest in volunteering and, we appreciate your wonderful questions and suggestions.
