My name is Remy and I am a Papillon which means
butterfly in French. I was named after Remy Martin
cognac because the spots on my fur are the color of
brandy. I was almost called "Monsieur 'Harry'cot Vert"
(French for Mr. Green Beans). My breeder dad was a
vegetarian and I ate lots of green beans when I was a
wee pup. They're still my faves!
I live with my Mom and Dad, a pack of two shelties,
Chance and Megan, a pride of two kitties, Macy and
Skippy, and a parakeet named Tweety Bird. Even
though I am the smallest in the pack I am the alpha
dog. One of my favorite jobs is patrolling the back yard
for "critters" and making sure they are all under control.
I gather all the best toys and treats and hide all my
treasures under the bed. I love to chew on my treat
bones – I call them sticks. I have so many sticks I could
start my own rock band called "Remy and the Sticks."
Mom and Dad are both photographers. I love to
pose for them and am the best model!
I look forward to walks with my pack and stop at
every vertical object to leave a "p-mail" for the other
canine buds in the hood to read. I'm a happy fur kid
and love to smile for my Dad, Bruce. He calls me his
