It then occurred to me that most people have a handful of songs to which they know every word. It's interesting to watch people mouthing the words to a popular song when someone is at the mic at our Karaoke shows. I decided to write a few of these songs down and see if you don't agree that you know the words to most of the songs on this list: 1. Crazy/Patsy Cline; 2. White Christmas/Bing Crosby; 3. Yesterday/ The Beatles; 4. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer/Gene Autry; 5. Happy Birthday/Standard; 6. Tequila/The Champs; 7. Wipeout/The Surfaris; 8. Blueberry Hill/Fats Domino; 9. God Bless America/Kate Smith; 10. God Bless The U.S.A./Lee Greenwood Of course everyone has varying opinions on which songs are more popular than others but I believe that most folks know at least half of the songs on this list pretty well. If you're a fan of big hit songs or maybe songs that are not as well known, you're sure to find a song you will enjoy singing at "Goodtimes Karaoke" with "Rosie Ingalls, Barb Miller and D.J. Blast." So grab your list of songs and join our team this month for singing, dancing and even some good eats that you can bring with you to the North and South Clubhouses. However, the rule for the Main Clubhouse Ballroom is no outside drinks or food are allowed, so please keep that in mind. In March you can join Barb, Rosie & D.J. Blast in the North Clubhouse on Sat., March 10. Our show begins at 5:30 pm and ends at 9 pm. We look forward to meeting you. If you have not been to our Karaoke events and as usual we will keep a mic on for you. P.S… D.J. Blast will be in the Sun Lakes lounge playing a variety of dance music from the 40s to today's favorites on Fri., March 9 from 7 to 10:30 pm. See you there as well. Karaoke Group Chorale We're now almost 110 strong! This year's spring concert series presents music that will thrill our audiences, as it thrills us. We're singing songs of Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter, and George Gershwin. We meet every Monday morning in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm, under the warm and capable direction of Mark Faber. Our section rehearsals are at various times on Thursdays in the Bus Room. If you'd like to be a part of our family, we could use your help ushering at our concerts, or volunteering in other ways.
