| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2018 | 3 By Sandra Moyer FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK March will be a busy month. It is time to fill out the forms for Age Verification & ID Cards. Each District has a set month and week. Please check last month's Lifestyles (page 8) or your district newsletter, Sun Lakes website, or call your district delegate. You may also get the forms on our website or at the Administration office and get a head start before your assigned date. If you get the forms early, you may fill them in but may not sign them. This has to be witnessed by someone in the Administration office on your assigned date. The Permanent Guest list will also be addressed at this time. If you have not reduced your list to five or less, please go onto the website and then Dwelling Live or call the Administration Office. There seems to be confusion on how the ID cards are going to work and how you will be billed. I will attempt to clarify this for you. 1. Your name and picture will be on the ID Card. 2. Your Associa Account ID number from your monthly HOA bill will be encoded into your ID Card. 3. If you want a House Account, you will fill out a form and the same Account ID number as stated in #2 will be used. 4. You must present your ID Card every time you visit the Restaurant, Lounge, or Pro Shop. You will not be served or able to purchase in the Pro Shop if ID Card is not presented. Once your card is shown, if you so choose, you may pay with cash or credit card. If your children are here and they want to pay, once ID Card is shown by you, they may pay the bill. Remember the purpose of the ID Card is to verify a resident is using the facilities and guests are accompanied by a resident. 5. Your billing will remain the same. You will get your normal HOA bill and a separate bill for your purchases from our Administration Office. You will no longer have to remember your number. It will be encoded into your ID Card. 6. The ID Cards go live May 7. Even though you will get them early, practice carrying them with you at all times. Treat them like a driver license. 7. After May 7, your old house account number will no longer be valid. I hope this helps clarify the process and use of the ID Cards. I know change can be difficult, but in the end it will benefit all. There will be three open positions on the Board. Each newly elected director will serve a two-year term. Two "Meet the Candidates" forums will be conducted. The first forum will be held on Mon., March 12, 2018 at 6 pm and the second forum will be held on Tues., March 13, 2018 at 10 am. Both forums will be conducted in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Ballots will be mailed out on Mon., March 12, 2018. MEET THE CANDIDATES FORUMS We hope to have the residents of each of the condo sub-association join us for the Annual Meeting. Each community is listed below. You will be able to view the election process and bring any questions to the meeting you would like to ask the board. Fairway Villas Community Association will be held on March 20, in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room at 2 pm. Please have your ballot turned into the Administration Office no later than March 19 at 5 pm. Lakeside Community Association will be held on March 23 in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room at 3:30 pm. Please have your ballot turned into the Administration Office no later than March 22 at 5pm. Lakeside II Community Association will be held on March 22 in the Main Clubhoue Multipurpose Room at 1:30 pm. Please have your ballot turned into the Administration Office no later than March 21 at 5 pm. Sub-Association Annual Meeting / Elections
